Self-service check-in without staff assistance. Difficult-to-close doors and noisy hair dryer in the room.

I recently stayed at Pods The Backpackers Home & Cafe for 3 nights during my trip to Kuala Lumpur. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, especially Mr. Azlan who went above and beyond to help me with transportation and recommendations for places to visit. The hostel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from KL Sentral, with plenty of convenient stores, cafes, restaurants, and cheap eats nearby. The free breakfast was a great bonus, and I really enjoyed meeting fellow travelers from different countries. The dorm beds had their own private lockers and electrical sockets, and the shared bathroom was big and clean. The room was equipped with two fans, which kept me cool during the night. The hostel also offered long and short term luggage storage, which was very convenient. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back and recommend Pods The Backpackers Home & Cafe to my friends.

I had a really convenient stay at Pods. The proximity to the train station made it easy for me to catch my early morning flight. The lobby and cafe had a nice atmosphere where I could relax and enjoy a meal. The fast WiFi allowed me to easily upload my photos and stay connected. Meeting fellow travelers from around the world was a bonus.

Stayed here for a few years. Close to Sentral. Private room with window view, bigger than previous visit. Powerful ceiling fan, comfortable elevated floor mattress. Cleaner shower area. Free breakfast and great nearby restaurants. Quiet visitor levels, friendly staff and communal room with friendly travelers. Worth the price, would definitely return.

We had a great stay at Pods The Backpackers Home & Cafe. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, close to a big shopping center and all the activities in KL. The bed was comfortable, and we loved the cozy rooftop with its nice view. Plus, free tea and coffee!

Great location, just a short walk from the main train station and bus terminals. The rooftop with its stunning city view was a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Plus, the hostel had a cozy cafe where we could enjoy a cup of coffee or grab a quick bite to eat.

There were no curtains around the beds, and it felt a bit crowded with older guests who didn't seem like backpackers. the air conditioning was centralized, making it difficult to adjust the temperature in the room.

Good double room, clean showers, friendly staff, included breakfast, convenient location near train station.

We had a great experience staying at Pods. the location was excellent, just a short walk to KL Sentral and Indian street. There were plenty of food options nearby, and the staff were friendly and provided excellent customer service. We were even able to check in early, which was a nice bonus. The cafe on the ground floor was a relaxing place to grab a coffee. Cons: Couldn't find any faults at all ️.
